Why do I like Robert Munsch books? He has a certain flare for getting children sucked into the story on the first page. He uses repetitive phrases that children enjoy chanting with the reader . . .so now they are active participants instead of passive listeners. As a librarian, I can tell you I can't keep this book or any of his others on the shelf.

A new favorite for us - Rachel L. Scala - Flagstaff, Arizona
The copy of Stephanie's Ponytail that I bought is a miniature book, which has the disadvantage of being too small to read easily with a squirmy kid beside you. The story, however, is perfect and has a PERFECT ending. Now I just need to get a normal sized copy.

The book was miniature. I have never seen a book so small. I feel taken advantage of. The last few times that I have dealt with you hasen't been a good experience. What more can I say?

This book was a very small version and this was not what I wanted. I would have wanted to know this before I purchased the book.
